2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by checkdomain GmbH, Bültenweg 1, 23554 Lübeck, Germany. The servers are located in Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.

When a page is requested, the server automatically records data sent by your browser:

  • the IP address of the requesting device, truncated or in full
  • date and time of access
  • name and URL of the file retrieved, and the volume of data transferred
  • whether the request succeeded
  • browser type and version, operating system
  • referrer URL, where transmitted

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is the technically correct and secure operation of the website. Log files are deleted after a short period — normally seven days — and are not combined with other data. They are not evaluated for advertising or analytics.

3. No cookies, no analytics, no third-party content

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking or advertising services. Fonts, graphics and stylesheets are served exclusively from our own server, and no third-party content is embedded. Your browser therefore establishes no connection to third-party servers when you visit these pages. Consent under § 25 TDDDG is accordingly not required.

4. Contacting us

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the data you provide — name, contact details, content of your enquiry — in order to deal with your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Your enquiry is retained for as long as it is needed to handle the matter. Commercial correspondence is subject to statutory retention periods under German commercial and tax law (§ 257 HGB, § 147 AO) and is kept for the period prescribed there.

Our mailbox is likewise operated by checkdomain GmbH. Please note that email in transit between providers is not necessarily end-to-end encrypted.

5. Encryption

This website is served exclusively over HTTPS. Requests over HTTP are redirected to the encrypted connection.

6. Your rights

In relation to us you have the right to

  • access the personal data we process about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
